  • How to identify a fake android phone
Android is an open-source mobile os, the leading manufacturer like Samsung, Sony, Micromax, HTC have now moved to android. Here I will discuss about how to identify a fake android phone. The mobile market is running very fast, in every month a new device is getting launched.
The China local manufacturers are taking advantage of open-source android to clone a device. At the first look you may think , that it is original and you may fooled by someone. Sometimes the user interface looks same, actually those clones comes with cooked android along with low quality hardware.

Identify a fake Samsung galaxy phone :

As I’ve mentioned before, from software side and from  the look, a clone may seem to original. But what are the differences?

difference :

1. This clone phone size may be little large than the original phone.
2. Screen size may be little shorter than the original one.
3. Border around display may be thicker in the clones.
4. Placement of the home key may be some more distance lower from the display edge.
5. Poor finish can be observed at the corners .

Weight differences :

1. Weight of clone phones without battery may be more than the original galaxy .
2. Weight of the battery is less than the original battery weight.

Software differences :

At first look the phone software may look similar to the original software, but there are several differences that hard to observe.
1. In past clone phones manufacturers was unable to port Samsung multi window features, but now those clones comes with multi window.
2. You may try antutu benchmark and cpu-Z to check the differences, but for some software tweaks, you may not get original result. But by some serious deep observation you may note the differences.
3. Many feature like Smart stay, air gesture, Smart scroll will not work in clone phones. This can be a noticeable point.
The differences explained above may be hard to notice and may take long time to identify a fake phone or fake galaxy. Also the market is full with clone of iPhone 5s, galaxy s4, galaxy note 3, galaxy grand, s4 mini etc in various country, peoples are falling in traps and getting betrayed. Now I will tell you a foolproof technique, to identify this type of fake phones or clone phones of any authentic manufacturers.

The foolproof technique :

Every phone that launched in the market, comes with a IMEI no. by which a phone interprets with network . Those IMEI nos databases are have to be submitted by manufacturers before those phones hit the market.
To check authentication, open imei.info from your browser. Put your IMEI no and submit. You will get your model no, specification, warranty etc. Data comes from clone phones IMEI no , differs from the original specification, helps to identify a fake android phone also.

NoPhone Zero is the greatest fake phone money can buy

Last week we reported on a study suggesting phone addiction behaved similarly to drug addiction, and we even suggested a few apps that can help you wean off your over-reliance on your mobile, if you feel you are “truly addicted”. Want to go to an even further extreme? The NoPhone and NoPhone Zero are here to help!
If you have never heard of the NoPhone, don’t feel bad, I hadn’t either. Apparently theoriginal NoPhone was a Kickstarter project last year, which aimed to create a rectangle that looked like a phone, had no real purpose, and cost $12. Since then, the model has become widely available for those looking to buy. Now the company is back on Kickstarter once more, this time bringing us the NoPhone Zero, which the company heralds as “the least advanced NoPhone ever”. This time the sleeker yet still completely useless rectangle will set pledgers back just $5.
Okay… what do we mean when we say the NoPhone has no real purpose? Well, there is no screen, no processor, no RAM, no storage, no camera, nothing. NoPhone’s founders say it best, “The NoPhone ZERO has zero features. It’s a plastic rectangle for people who are addicted to rectangular devices. If you know someone who needs no phone, give them a NoPhone.”

On the other hand, creating the first NoPhone as a joke made sense, but a second release sounds more like a money grab. For the record, it has already secured it’s funding goal of $500, and then some, at $900 so far with 15 days to go. What do you think of the NoPhone Zero? Funny, stupid, a little bit of both? You can read more about it on their
official Kickstarter page. Before you shake your head and say WTF, keep in mind that despite the Kickstarter page’s denial that this is a joke, its somewhat humorous comments about the phone’s lack of features makes it fairly obvious this is just for fun and that NoPhone doesn’t really believe that clutching a rectangle will magically help people break away from phone addiction. One of my personal favorites: “If it isn’t a NoPhone ZERO, it isn’t a plastic rectangle.”
